E. Wheel Installation
Torque lug nuts before first use and after each wheel removal.
Note: The wheel and tire assemblies must be installed with the directional tread
pattern “arrows” facing in the direction of forward travel.
1. Install wheel lug washers.
2. Start all nuts by hand to prevent cross threading. DO NOT use a lubricant on
threads or nuts.
3. Tighten lug nuts in an alternating pattern as indicated in figure. Torque to 221 lb-
ft (300 Nm).
WARNING
TIP OVER HAZARD. Lug nuts must be installed and maintained at the proper
torque to prevent loose wheels, broken studs and possible separation of wheel
from the axle.
