SECTION 8 - ADDITIONAL CHECKS

8.1

GENERAL

If any test gives a different result, the system is not functioning properly and
the machine must be removed from service and repaired before continued
operation.

8.2

LOAD STABILITY INDICATOR TEST

The Load Stability Indicator (LSI) is intended to continuously monitor the forward
stability of the telehandler. To check this feature, perform the following:

1. Fully retract and level boom, with no load. Do not raise the boom during

this test.

2. Ensure frame is level.

3. Press the test button on the LSI display. This will cause all LEDs to flash on and

an audible warning to sound. This indicates that the system is functioning
properly. If the test gives a different result, the system is not functioning properly
and the machine must be removed from service and repaired before continued
operation.
