TKIP – TKIP (Temporal Key Integrity Protocol) changes the temporal key

every 10,000 packets. This insures much greater security than the standard

WEP security.

AES – AES has been developed to ensure the highest degree of security

and authenticity for digital information and it is the most advanced

solution defined by IEEE 802.11i for the security in the wireless network.

Pre-shared Key Format – Select “Passphrase” or “Hex” key format. If

“Passphrase” is selected, please enter 8 to 63 digits of ASCII format to be

the key for the authentication within the network. If “Hex” is selected,

please enter 64 digits of Hex code which should be “0-9” and “A-F”.

Pre-Shared Key – The “Pre-Shared Key” is different from the key format

selection. Please see above description.

When you finish configuring the wireless security, click “Save & Next” to

confirm the configuration.
