WARNING

!

Before maintaining the lift, read & follow the recommended
safety practices in the Safety Practices section. Failure to follow
these safety practices could result in death or serious injury.

DANGER !

Failure to relieve lift table system pressure could result in the
sudden and unexpected release of pressure during maintenance
and/or repair of the lift and result in severe injury to personnel
and/or damage to the lift.

CYLINDER REMOVAL


1.

Raise the lift to its full height and block securely. See “Lift Blocking Instructions”.


2.

Press the Down Pushbutton or Down Foot Switch to relieve system pressure.

3.

Cut off the electricity to the power unit (lock out-tag out).


4.

Disconnect the cylinder hose at the tee connection on the Base assembly.
Place the open end of the hose in a container to receive oil spillage.

5.

Remove the hex bolt in the cylinder upper leg clevis (otherwise known as the
Trunnion clevis).

6.

Secure the cylinder from dropping on the floor. Remove the cylinder pin from the
upper leg clevis (trunnion clevis) by carefully tapping out the clevis pin. Avoid
damaging the clevis pin or bushings.

7.

Push the piston rod into the cylinder to eject as much oil as possible into the oil
container.

8.

Remove the cylinder from the leg assembly.
