APX Series Instructions
Note: The lift bracket plate and lube bottle bracket are
not required for APX series installation.
1. Disconnect the electric and air power supplies to
the machine and wait for the air pressure to deplete.
2. Disconnect the supply air line from the bottom of
the lift control valve.
3. If shipping bracket is attached, remove 4 bolts to
remove bracket as shown.
4. Insert 1/4-inch air supply hose in the bottom hole
in chassis, as shown.
Important: Torque bolts at 30 foot pounds.
5. Install wheel lift on front of tire changer chassis
using six fasteners (three on each side into lift
bracket/chassis).
6. Attach pedal guard to the wheel lift.
7. Remove side panel and then remove tire lift plug
from manifold.
8. Insert 1/4-inch straight barbed fitting into the tire
lift location on manifold.
9. Insert air supply hose, with hose clamp, from tire
lift onto fitting and tighten the hose clamp. Reinstall
side panel.
10. Functional test the wheel lift.
