13. Dispersion Tool

To avoid contamination, the dispersion tool must be cleaned after every dispersing process.

13.2 Cleaning:

Clean the dispersion tool with a suitable cleaning fluid (depending on the medium processed).
Run the dispersion tool in the cleaning fluid so that the internal parts are also cleaned. If the tool
is extremely dirty, the dispersion tool can be disassembled for cleaning.

13.3 Disassembly, Standard Dispersion Tool:

Insert the auxiliary tool (HH) into the cutting area of the tool in the manner shown. Note: the
auxiliary tool (HH) has three different size insertion areas. These are designed for the 3 sizes of
tools: 8 / 12 / 18. Select the right size for your tool.

Then unscrew the cutting rotor (II) from the rotor shaft (BB) clockwise. Remove the cutting rotor
(II) and the rotor shaft (BB). To remove the PTFE bearing (AA) insert the cutting rotor on other
side of rotor shaft (BB) and gently push bearing out. The elastomer O ring (PP) on the rotor
shaft provides a play-free seat for the rotor shaft on the ball bearing 1 (R).
