Connecting SMART Sensors
SMART sensors are one of the
new generation sensors from
HYDAC, capable of outputting up
to 10 different measured variables.
These sensors are also
automatically recognized by the
HMG 510 via HSI. The measured
values including the unit of
measurement are shown in the
display.
Only one SMART sensor can be
connected to the HMG
510,
however it can be connected to
both channels (A and B).
Depending on the sensor type the
sensor features an internal
memory enabling the storage of
recorded measurement data on a
long-term basis. In addition,
depending on the sensor type
preset parameters can be changed
and stored in the internal memory
as a sensor configuration.
When you connect the HMG 510
to a PC, HYDAC’s CMWIN
software enables you to read out
the measured value memory of a
SMART sensor and/or modify the
sensor’s parameters.
