● Sicherheitstemperaturbegrenzer (STB).

- Druckgeräterichtlinie 97/23/EG

Sicherheitshinweise
● Knicken oder Durchtrennen der Fernleitung führt zum dauerhaften Ausfall des Gerätes.
● Beim Verlegen der Fernleitung, Biegeradius ≥ 5 mm einhalten.
● Beim Bruch des Messsystems kann Füllflüssigkeit austreten.
Safety notes
● Cutting through or kinking the capillary will lead to permanent instrument failure.
● When routing the long-distance line ensure a bending radius of ≥ 5 mm.
● Liquid may escape in the event of a measuring system fracture.

3. Montage
Mounting Montage
3.1 Fernleitung / Temperturfühler / Schutzhülse
Allgemeines
● Der Einbau des Temperaturfühlers muss in JUMO-Schutzhülsen erfolgen –
anderenfalls erlischt die Zulassung des Aufbau-Thermostaten.
● Der Temperaturfühler muss vollständig in das Messmedium eingetaucht sein.
● Im Betriebsmedium Luft muss ein Prozessanschluss ohne Schutzhülse
gewählt werden.
● Um die allgemeine Ansprechgenauigkeit zu gewährleisten, dürfen die Geräte
nur mit den werkseitig mitgelieferten Schutzhülsen (Durchmesser Ø = 8,
10 mm) verwendet werden.
● In Schutzhülsen mit Durchmesser Ø = 10 mm darf nur ein Fühler mit Durch-
messer Ø = 8 mm eingesetzt werden.
● Mehrfachbelegungen von Schutzhülsen sind nur mit 2 oder 3 Rundfühlern mit
Ø 6 mm und Schutzhülsen von 15 x 0,75 mm zulässig.
● Bei Belegung mit 2 Fühlern muß die werkseitig mitgelieferte Andruckfeder in
der Schutzhülse eingebaut sein.
● Für die Schutzhülsen 22, 41 und 42 aus den Werkstoffen St 35.8I/16Mo 3 ist
bei Betriebstemperaturen über 420°C die zulässige Betriebsdauer auf
200.000 Stunden begrenzt. Für die Anwendung in diesem Bereich ist die
TRD 508 zu beachten.
Capillary / temperature probe / pocket
General information
● JUMO pockets must be used when installing the temperature probe, if the
approval for the surface-mounting thermostat is to remain valid.
● The temperature probe must be fully immersed in the measurement medium.
● When air is the measurement medium, you must choose a process connec-
tion without a pocket.
● To ensure the general accuracy of the operating value, the instruments must
only be used with the pockets supplied on delivery (diameter Ø = 8, 10 mm).
● Only a probe of diameter Ø = 8 mm may be used in pockets of Ø = 10 mm.
● Multiple assignments of pockets are only allowed with 2 or 3 cylindrical
probes of Ø 6 mm and pockets of 15 x 0.75 mm.
● If two probes are assigned, the spring clip provided on delivery must be in-
stalled in the pocket.
● With pockets 22, 41 and 42 made from St 35.8I/16Mo 3 materials, the permit-
ted operating period at operating temperatures above 420 °C is limited to
200,000 hours. Compliance with TRD 508 is essential for applications in this
range.
Capillaire / Sonde de température / Doigt de gant
Généralité
● La sonde de température doit être montée dans des doigts de gant JUMO – dans
le cas contraire l’homologation des thermostats pour montage en saillie ne serait
plus valable.
● La sonde de température doit être entièrement immergée dans le milieu.
● En cas d’utilisation dans l’air, il faut utiliser un raccord de process sans doigt de
gant.
● En raison de la précision de réponse d’ensemble, les appareils ne doivent être utili-
sés qu’avec les doigts de gant d’origine (diamètre Ø = 8, 10 mm).
● Une sonde de diamètre Ø = 8 mm ne peut être montée que dans un doigt de gant
de diamètre.
● Montages multiples de doigts de gant autorisés uniquement avec 2 ou 3 sondes
rondes de Ø 6 mm et doigts de gant 15 x 0,75 mm.
● En cas de montage avec 2 sondes, il faut insérer le ressort de pression fourni avec
l’appareil dans le doigt de gant.
● Pour les doigts de gant 22, 41 et 42 en acier 35.8I/16Mo 3 la durée de fonction-
nement autorisée avec des température supérieures à 420°C est limitée à 200 000
heures. Pour une utilisation dans ce domaine, il faut tenir compte de TRD 508.
