2. Position the front right and left disk gang assemblies so that the lug on the disk gang
rockshaft lines up with the lug on the support beams as shown in Figure 1. Assemble the
gang to the beam with cast bearing halves, 5/8-11NC X 10 1/2” bolts, lockwashers, and
nuts. Lubricate the inside of the cast bearings with grease before assembly. The side
grease zerks o nthe front halves must be away from the stops on the disc rockshaft.
3. Rotate the disc gag assemblies upward to install the disc depth control. If your unit is
equipped with Ratchet Jack Control (1K619), install the ratchet jacks between the lug on
the rear cushion and the lug on the disc gang. If your unit is equipped with Hydraulic Disc
Control (1K620), install the cylinders between the lug on the rear cushion and the lug on
the disc gang.
