All six Trunnion Bearings will be assembled the same
except for the location/placement of the 11 Ga. and 14
Ga. Washer Shims. Both Shim Washers can be on the
inside between the Stub Shaft shoulder and the Trunnion
Bearing, both on the outside, or singularly on either side.
• Prior to inserting the 1” bolt, determine if there is a
gap between the shoulder of the Stub Shaft and the
Bearing. If there is a gap, insert the appropriate Shim
Washer/s (11 or 14 gauge). If no gap is present then
both shims will be placed on the outside of the
bearing.
• The Grease Fitting should be oriented towards the
rear of machine.
• Tighten to specification in Torque Chart located on
page 1-13.
NOTICE

The bearings must be shimmed correctly to avoid
premature failure of the part. Correct installation
is vital to the longevity of the equipment.
