Ladder Use and Transport
Requirements
1.
When transporting the 5531 Grain Drill:
a.
The ladder should be in the raised position
(laying across the top of the walkboard) and
secured with the pin (See Figure 4-29.)
b.
The ladder should also be in the raised position
when working in the field to prevent damage
when working near trees, fences, power lines,
etc.
2.
When using the ladder:
a.
Lower ladder to the down position and place pin
in the storage location to gain access to the seed
boxes (See Figure 4-30.)
b.
Handles are provided on each end of the drill as
well for access.
