Fertilizer – Rate Adjustment

The dry fertilizer rate is adjusted by changing
sprocket ratios for each section. See Figure 4-17 for
desired settings. For best results use clean dry
fertilizer, free of clumps, or foreign material.
IMPORTANT
The operator must verify actual fertilizer output
before planting.

The fertilizer chart is based upon average size dry
fertilizer with a density of 65 lbs per cubic foot. If
using a fertilizer with a different density, apply the
following conversion factors, and use the closest rate
for application (See Table 4-1.)
