Site Preparation. Is the installation site adequately prepared for the system? Is
the machine located in its final position? Is there enough space for the system
along with the proper power, air, network, pneumatic, and/or water supplies?

Computer modifications. Will any other computer software or hardware,
such as network adapters or LIMS software, be added to the system? Please
provide information about any possible computer modifications prior to the
installation. If time permits in the later stages of the installation the FSE will
assist your Information Services Technician with the integration of
peripherals and network capabilities. The FSE is not trained in information
systems troubleshooting techniques and is not responsible for compatibility
issues regarding the integration of devices other than those required for
communication with the MTS supplied controller. MTS understands that
networking can play a vital role in your testing needs. MTS equipment and
software is designed to help you successfully achieve this need. However,
MTS respectfully requests that you do not modify the computer by
reconfiguring the PC factory settings or the configuration of an MTS
supplied computer until the FSE has arrived on-site. This request extends to
peripherals as well as network hardware.

If the PC is customer supplied, the customer IT Dept must provide
Administrator access for the FSE to install and configure the TestWorks
software on the PC properly. This must be arraigned before the FSE arrives
on site.

Date and time of installation. Confirm with the FSE on the exact date and
time for performing the installation, including the time for uninterrupted
training.
