Getting Started—Your Initial Drive Settings
The drive settings buttons that are available on the initial Drive Settings screen depend
on the hardware configuration of the backup target device you selected at step 2 on
page 25. For example:
The screen for unencrypted WD drives does not display a Security button.
The screen for WD drives with a customizable label displays a Label button:
The initial Drive Settings screen does not appear if the selected backup target device
is:

A WD drive that supports the WD Security and WD Drive Utilities software
-
A network-attached device or a supported cloud service

A non-WD drive
