PowerFlex DC Stand-Alone Regulator (SAR)
Discharge Resistor

What This Kit Includes

Depending on sizing, the SAR may have three or four discharge resistors. Replace
only the damaged discharge resistors, as needed. It is not necessary to replace all
the discharge resistors at the same time.

• One discharge resistor
• Four screws with captive lock washers
• Static strap

• Nut driver or wrench for hex stand-offs
• Wire cutter/stripper
• Soldering iron and solder supplies
• Isopropyl alcohol
• Thermal grease

installing, testing, servicing, or repairing this assembly. Component
damage may result if ESD control procedures are not followed. If you are
not familiar with static control procedures, reference A-B publication
8000-4.5.2, “Guarding Against Electrostatic Damage,” or any other
applicable ESD protection handbook.
