The class of devices you select there will depend on which device classes you
have selected during installation.
You can add devices directly to the project or cascading to a device.
You can delete added devices from the project.
How to add a device to a project:
 From the pop-up menu of the project select the Add device... command.
The Device selection wizard dialog box is opened.
 There choose a device class in the Device class field.
 Click the Continue > button.
The subsequent device-specific dialog box is opened.
 Follow the instructions of the Device selection wizard.
How to add a further device in cascading mode:
 Use the right mouse button to open the pop-up menu of the device.
 Select the Add device… command.
The Device selection wizard dialog box is opened.
 Follow the instructions of the Device selection wizard.
How to delete a device from a project:
 From the pop-up menu for the device, select the Delete device command.
The device is deleted from the project tree.
Displaying the device properties To check the type codes and the device class of the devices you can display the
properties of a device. The type code, device class and further properties of the
device are listed here.
