Changing the password
The user group authorized client can enter/change the passwords for the user
groups machine maintenance personnel and authorized client. The passwords are
saved in the devices. This allows the devices to be protected from being
configured by unauthorized persons.
How to change the password:
 Using the right mouse button, open the pop-up menu of the device.
 Select the command Access rights, change password... (this command is active
only for the user group authorized client).
The Change project password dialog box opens.
 Select under Change password for if you wish to change the password for the
user group machine maintenance personnel or for the user group authorized
client.
 Enter the new password once each in both fields under New password.
 Click the OK button.
The SCD loads the new password to the devices.
 If you have made a typing error when entering the new password: A message is
displayed.Click OK and select the command Access rights, change password...
once again.
