ControlNet NetChecker 19

Rockwell Automation Publication 1788-UM001B-EN-P - August 2012

If status indicator 1 is green, the minimum level is between 0.75Vpp and 2Vpp (this is still
acceptable). If status indicator 1 is red, however, at least one signal is being received at a level less
than 750mVpp. To identify the nodes that are producing the low signals scan all of the node
addresses on the network with the Node Finder. If it is necessary to ensure that the signal at each
node input meets the ControlNet Receive Mask specification (510mVpp at minimum), verify
the minimum level with an oscilloscope connected to the NetChecker.

If status indicator 7 (top of the scale) turns red, a level of signal greater than 9.5Vpp was detected.
This may indicate a strong mismatch on the network. Check if terminations are present.
