On 4-Line displays, remove three screws and
five spacers securing the last board to the
faceplate. On 2-Line displays, remove six
spacers securing the board. Note the location
and length of the spacers and screws as they are
removed. Disconnect the ribbon cable from the
board.

Important: Disconnect ribbon cable by the
connector, do not pull on the cable.

Place board in a safe anti-static area.

Remove two screws and two spacers securing
the second board. Note the location of the
spacers and screws as they are removed. Place
board in a safe anti-static area.

ATTENTION: Be careful not to
nick or damage circuit board
components when removing
spacers. Some spacers are very
close to board components.

Reassemble in reverse sequence using the new
faceplate. Tighten all screws and spacers to a
torque of 10-12 in/lbs (1.2-1.4 N
