• Each bank must contain SIMMs of the same type (EDO parity or
EDO non-parity), speed, and size. For example, you cannot
install 8MB and 16MB in Bank 0.
• SIMMs must be installed in both sockets of a bank (Bank 0 only,
Bank 1 only, or both banks).
• BIOS automatically detects memory size, type and parity.
There are no jumper settings.
• Use only tin lead SIMMs on Pentium II boards and gold plated
lead SIMMs on Pentium boards.
• Use 72–pin, 50ns or 60ns Extended Data Out (EDO) DRAM.
