3. Remove the five screws securing the power supply.

Note: You do not have to disconnect the power supply wiring.
Position the power supply out of the way.

ATTENTION: The spring clamp secures the heat sink
to the processor. When the clamp is removed, the heat
sink will slide off. Make sure the heat sink does not
fall onto other components.

4. Refer to the following figures (the 6180 Computer has two types

of processors). While holding the heat sink, use a pliers to
carefully pull the spring clamp from the tab on the socket.

ATTENTION: The spring clip fits tightly on the
socket base. Use extreme caution when using a needle
nose pliers to remove the spring clip. Make sure pliers
do not slip and damage the processor board.
