To install a drive:

1. Secure the drive to the bracket with the four mounting screws.

Tighten screws to a torque of 6-8 in-lbs.

2. Position the drive / bracket assembly into the chassis. Make sure

the tabs on the side of the bracket slide into the corresponding
side hole in the chassis. Also make sure that the key on the end
of the bracket is inserted into the slot on the chassis front panel.

3. Secure the drive / bracket assembly to the chassis with the two

mounting screws. Tighten screws to a torque of 6-8 in-lbs.

4. Install the ribbon connector on the hard drive. On 3.5 inch drives

also connect the power cable. Make sure that the ribbon cable is
installed correctly. The red wire of the cable must be at the
bottom as shown below:

5. Install the back panel.

6. Apply power and verify the operation of the drive. Refer to any

additional instructions provided with the drive.
