SA3100 Enclosure Kit

Enclosure Installation

This publication shows how to install enclosure kits for SA3100 drives.

Installing the Kit

Access to the top, bottom, and sides of the drive chassis is required to
assemble the kit. If the open chassis drive is already installed, remove and
lock-out all power to the drive, then label and disconnect all wiring.
External wiring will have to be rerouted through enclosure knockouts after
the kit has been installed.

!

ATTENTION: Your drive contains parts and assemblies that
are sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). When installing,
testing, servicing, or repairing this assembly, you must follow
static control precautions to avoid damage to components. If
you are not familiar with static control procedures, see
publication 8000-4.5.2, Guarding Against Electrostatic
Damage
, or another suitable handbook about ESD protection.

!

ATTENTION: To avoid a shock hazard, verify that all power
has been removed from the drive and verify that there is no
voltage across the DC bus before attempting the procedures in
this document.
