Installing a D or E-Frame Enclosure Kit
1. Secure the extension plate with the supplied screws to 3 N-m (26 lb-in)
as shown in Figure 2.
2. Slide the side plates over the chassis tabs as shown in Figure 2.
3. Attach the top and bottom plates to the side plates by sliding the tabs into
the corresponding slots. Secure with the supplied screws to 2.8 N-m
(25 lb-in).
4. Install the door on the side plate hinge pins.
5. For EMC kits, fasten the supplied jumper wire between the chassis
ground stud and the lower corner of the door, as shown in Figure 2.
Torque the nut to 3 N-m (26 lb-in).

Door Grounding Jumper
Jumper must be installed
between the enclosure door
and chassis grounding stud.
For CE conformance, the EMI gasket
(pre-installed) and jumper supplied
with the kit must be in place.
