finding Pipe lengths
The components of rolling offset calculations
sometimes have different names in different
geographic regions and in different trades.
•
Roll – the horizontal component of a rolling
offset. May also be known as “offset”.
•
offset – the vertical component of a rolling
offset. May also be known as “rise” or “set”.
•
Bend – the bend angle, also known as “fitting
angle” or “angle of turn”.
Note: If an angle is not entered, or if the angle
is set to 0 degrees, the fitting angle is assumed
to be 90º.
Find the pipe Cutback when you are running
pipes through a 45º bend with a 10” offset.
