7 Check whether a valid value is entered under the corresponding
common variable in the configuration.
8 Load the Sample measurement method in the tiamo™ Methods
part with File ▶ Open and double-click on the A6 calculation com-
mand to open it.
9 Edit the line A7 checking gas volume via the properties and open
the formula editor by clicking on the ÷ symbol. An if-then query (nes-
ted CASE function) then opens; in this query the additional gas type x
that you have replaced with butadiene is listed twice in a row.
Replace the term additional gas type x with butadiene also here and
save the method using File
▶ Save. You can now select your new
gas type for the subsequent analyses, and the method automatically
uses the appropriate correction factor for the calculations.
