Features
• Watts Steam Ball Valves compared to gate valves incur less
stem packing wear because of minimal quarter turn move-
ment. Gate valve operation requires multiple turns and a ris-
ing stem; resulting in accelerated stem seal wear and external
steam leaks.
• Watts Steam Ball Valves compared to gate valves offer resil-
ient seats that “Hold Tight” and are more abrasion resistant to
foreign material in the system. They offer consistent, repeat-
able operating torque.
• Mineral filled PTFE seats
• 316 Stainless Steel ball and stem
• Minimal pressure drop due to large ports
• Blow-out proof, pressure retaining stem
• High cycle life reinforced PTFE stem packing and thrust
washer
• Vinyl insulator on heavy duty zinc-plated carbon steel handles
• Fast quarter turn open or close operation
• Low operating torque
• Adjustable stem packing gland requiring minimal maintenance
• Each valve individually tested, air under water, in the opened
and closed position
• Pressure rated at 250 psi (17 bar) WSP @ 405°F (207°C),

Specifications
Valves shall be 2-piece constructed, ASTM B-584 bronze body,
316SS stem and ball, blow-out proof stem, mineral filled PTFE
seats, reinforced PTFE stem packing and stem thrust bear-
ing. Valves shall be pressure rated to 250 psi (17 bar) WSP
@ 405°F (207°C), 600 psi (41 bar) WOG 1 /

"-2" (13-50mm);
125 psi (8.6 bar) WSP @ 353°F (178°C), 400 psi (28 bar) WOG
