2. Prior to mounting the box, determine which inlet po-
sition will be used (side or top), and remove the ap-
propriate knockouts. Then determine the drain size
needed and follow the procedure below, Fig. 4).
A. For a 1

" drain tubing, remove 1 1 ⁄
2
" knockout
only.
B. For 2” drain tubing, remove 1 1 ⁄
2
" and 2" knock
outs.
3. Position mounting straps in tabs on side of wall box,
Fig. 5. The face of the Duo-Clozure wall box should
protrude by the depth of the fi nished wall, as shown
in Fig. 1.
