Copper CrimpRings™ are used to make a leak tight and
secure crimped connection of brass (ASTM F1807) or plastic
(ASTM F-2159) PEX fittings to PEX (ASTM F-877) CTS sizes
SDR9 pipe.
Specifications
System shall be plumbed using Watts WaterPEX® cross-linked
polyethylene pipe and all joints shall be made using Watts Lead
Free* Brass and/or Poly-alloy PEX fittings using the Watts cop-
per CrimpRing™ as outlined in the Watts Installation Guidelines.
Installation Note
Copper CrimpRings™ must be installed in accordance with all
Watts installation procedures, including information provided in
installation manual and guidelines.
Installation of Copper CrimpRings requires the use of a properly
calibrated manual, electric or battery operated crimping tool
with the proper ASTM F-1807 sized jaw. For 1 1 /

CrimpRings, an electric or battery operated crimping tool must
be used to assure proper installation.
All connections made with a copper CrimpRing must be
checked with a GO/NO Go gauge after completion of the
connection.

only be installed using a corresponding Watts Series WP14C
Copper CrimpRing, The recommended crimping method
requires an electric or battery operated crimping tool using an
ASTM F-1807 certified crimping jaw. All crimp connections
must be checked with a GO/NO GO Gauge provided by the
tool manufacturer.

Testing and Materials (ASTM International) F877 and F1807
• Listed by the NSF International to NSF Standards 14 and 61
for use in potable water systems
This product is UL 1821 listed for PEX multipurpose sys-
tems used to support NFPA 13D when used with Watts
(Residential Fire) RF PEX TM Tubing, RF PEX TM Fittings, RF
PEX TM Sprinkler Fittings and Copper CrimpRings TM . You must
refer to Watts Residential Fire at watts.com/resfire for further
product specification and safety information. DO NOT USE
OTHER PRODUCTS WITHOUT SUCH DESIGNATION IN FIRE
PROTECTION APPLICATIONS.
