Thank you for purchasing the TA-CA2(14/38) camera support accessory. TA-CA2(14/38) is de-
signed to be used with handheld and DSLR type cameras. It enables the ability to mount 14.4V
ENDURA V-Mount batteries and accessories to simultaneously supply DC power to the camera
and camera accessories. In addition, the TA-CA2(14/38) can be adapted to larger camera sys-
tems for flexible accessory mounting. Prior to using TA-CA2(14/38), IDX recommends reading
this Instruction Manual on how to best use TA-CA2(14/38).

General Notes & Safety

TA-CA2(14/38) will not mount underneath all handheld cameras. The camera’s 1/4-20” or 3/8-16”
screw hole must be less than 4.5” or 3.7”, respectively, from the rear of the camera.

Do not attempt to modify this unit. All work should be carried out by IDX authorized
service personnel only.

Tighten all levers and screws prior to use to avoid injury and equipment damage.


3. Attach an optional P-V series plate with the appropriate voltage regulation/DC cable.
4. Adjust the plate’s position to your liking and tighten the ball-joint clamp by turning the lever.
5. Attach an optional DC-DC cable to the P-V series plate and camera.
