This adaptor plate is exclusively designed for use of ENDURA lithium-Ion batteries with the
Canon XL1 Digital Video Camcorder.
Features : The A-E2XL1 is a V-Mount adapter plate that allows direct connection of ENDURA
batteries. Where compatible, two ENDURA batteries can be ‘PowerLinked’ to increase
run times.
: (Lighting) It is recommended that an IDX, *X-Lite II 12V professional ENG on-camera
light is used. This can be powered via the D-Tap connector, found on the A-E2XL1.
*When powering the X-Lite II and camera together it is recommended that a 20~35W
bulb is used and that the ENDURA batteries are used in the ‘PowerLink’ mode.
: (Wireless Receiver) The following wireless receiver fittings are available as optional
accessories O-LWP(F) / O-LWR(B).

Operating Precaution
To use with lighting applications, the maximum discharge current when two E-50
are PowerLinked is 8A (maximum 4A per battery). Over 8A of load may activate
battery protection circuit and automatically stop supply of power (two E-80
PowerLinked max 12A maximum per battery 6A).
