4 ch Field Mixer FS-40X Parts Names and Funcctions
Output panel （Right side） / Battery holder
SUB OUT Connectors （RCA Pin Jack）
DC 12V IN Connector
Use for the output for a consumer recorder, etc. with the RCA pin plug.
The output signal level is set to -10 dBV fixed to adapt to a consumer recorder, etc.
The mixed signal is output to the L or R channel even if the OUT SELECT switch is set to MIX or
DIRECT whichever.
OUT SELECT DIRECT/MIX Switch
MIX : The input signal to each channel is mixed to the L or R channel selected by the
output channel select switch ( ).
DIRECT: The input signal to each channel is output to each channel of the 1 to 4 OUT
connectors directly. The output channel select switch is not valid.
When set to the DIRECT, the PK(over level)/D(DIRECT) indicator LED ( ) lights
on to GREEN.
Headphone Connector (φ3.5 mini jack)
Used to monitor the MAS OUT signal by the headphone with the φ3.5 mini plug.
It can be used at the same time with the headphone connected to the φ6.3 jack on the
main panel.
MAS OUT +4/0/-20/-60 dB Select Switches
Provided for each of the L and R channels.
Set to the appropriate level position accordingt to each the equipment, the recorder, etc.
connected to the MAS OUT connectors.

BATT RELEASE Button
Press to release the battery case.
AA Battery Case (LR-68)
Used for the power supply with the AA batteries (8 LR-6）.
When the POWER swith is turned on to the INT(internal) position, it supplies the power.
SUB OUT -20/-60 dB Select Switches
Provided for each of the L and R channels.
Set to the appropriate level position accordingt to each the equipment, the recorder, etc.
connected to the MAS OUT connectors.
Used to supply the power, 9 to 18 V DC, from the external power supply, AC adaptor, etc.
When the POWER swith is turned on to the EXT(external) position, it supplies the power.
