1. Before beginning assembly/installation, carefully
unpack and identify all parts, referring to the
illustration.
2. Turn power to the installation point .

NIPPLE.
Thread into the underside the center of the
CROSSBAR. Thread LOCK NUT A with SHAKE
PROOF WASHER A up nipple. Tighten against the
underside of CROSSBAR with pliers. Thread
LOCKNUT B onto bottom of NIPPLE.

Position the fixture underneath the CEILING
MOUNTED OUTLET BOX. and pass SUPPLY and
GROUND WIRE through the center of NIPPLE.
Connect the HOUSE GROUND wire and the
FIXTURE GROUND wire to UNIVERSAL
CROSSBAR using GROUND SCREW (green).
Using wire connectors (not supplied), connect the
HOUSE WHITE WIRE to the FIXTURE WHITE
(or RIBBED SIDE) WIRE; connect the HOUSE
BLACK(or RED) WIRE to the FIXTURE BLACK
(or SMOOTH SIDE)WIRE. Make sure
there are no exposed wires and wrap all
connections with approved electrical tape.
6. Carefully tuck in all wiring into the OUTLET BOX
and thread the CANOPY CHAIN LOOP onto the
bottom of NIPPLE. Thread LOCK NUT B and
SHAKE PROOF WASHER B onto top of CANOPY
CHAIN LOOP. Tighten with pliers. Locate the
CEILING CANOPY over the CEILING MOUNTED
OUTLET BOX and secure against ceiling by
threading the CANOPYLOCK RING onto the
CANOPY CHAIN LOOP. Proceed to attach the top
of FIXTURE CHAIN to the CANOPY CHAIN LOOP.
Carefully compress end of FIXTURE CHAIN to
secure.

Make the wiring connections: (Quoizel
recommends (2) people for next 3 steps)
3. Locate the FIXTURE CHAIN, CEILING CANOPY,
CANOPY CHAIN LOOP, CANOPY LOCKRING and
SHAKE PROOF WASHER B. Unravel and pass the
SUPPLY WIRE and GROUND wires through in the
following order: 1) Alternate loops in the FIXTURE
CHAIN and attach bottom of chain to top of
FIXTURE LOOP. Compress end of chain with pliers
to secure. 2) CANOPY LOCKRING. 3) CANOPY
CHAIN LOOP. 4) SHAKE PROOF WASHER B
5) CEILING CANOPY.

Locate the CROSSBAR with GREEN GROUND
SCREW and attach to ceiling mount outlet box
with (2) OUTLET BOX SCREWS. Tread LOCK NUT
A with SHAKE WASHER A onto top end of
Locate the STEM and thread top into the
COUPLING on the underside of SOCKET
CLUSTER. Hand tighten until snug.
Locate the SHADE and with the help of another
person, align and pass the bottom center hole in the
shade cap over the bottom of the STEM. Attach
the tops of SIDE SUPPORT CHAINS (amount
depends on style purchased)
Locate the LOCK NUT and FINIAL. Thread the
LOCK NUT onto end of stem protruding from
shade cap. Hand tighten until sung. Thread the
FINIAL onto end of stem and hand tighten until
snug to secure shade.
Install BULBS referring to fixture markings and/
or labels for maximum wattage. Restore power to
