1. Before beginning installation carefully unpack and identify all parts referring to illustration FIGURE 1.
2. Locate the FIXTURE SHADE and 3-LIGHT CLUSTER with PULLCHAIN. Proceed to unravel the
FIXTURE SUPPLY/GROUND WIRES attached to the cluster.
3. With the wire unraveled proceed to pass through the center of the CAP MOUNTING HOLE.
4. Locate the FIXTURE LOOP and pass wire through the threaded center hole.
5. Proceed to secure the 3-LIGHT CLUSTER with PULLCHAIN the inside of the FIXTURE SHADE.
Do this by passing the NIPPLE at the top of the cluster through the CAP MOUNTING HOLE. Thread
the FIXTURE LOOP onto the NIPPLE. Tighten until snug.
(QUOIZEL recommends (2) people for the following steps !!!)
Making the connections
6. With the FIXTURE to the side, proceed to locate the CROSSBAR and attach the ceiling mounted outlet box
using (2) OUTLET BOX SCREWS (not supplied). Locate the NIPPLE and thread it into the center of the
CROSSBAR.
7. Locate the FIXTURE CHAIN, CEILING CANOPY, CANOPY CHAIN LOOP and CANOPY LOCKRING. Pass
the SUPPLY and GROUND wires through in the following order: 1) Alternate loops in the FIXTURE CHAIN
2) CANOPY LOCKRING, 3) CANOPY CHAIN LOOP, 4) CEILING CANOPY. Finally, proceed to pass the wires
through the NIPPLE attach to the CROSSBAR.
8. : With power to the installation point OFF, connect the HOUSE GROUND WIRE
to the FIXTURE GROUND WIRE and secure to the CROSSBAR with GROUND SCREW. Connect the HOUSE
WHITE WIRE and the FIXTURE WHITE (or RIBBED SIDE) wire; Connect the HOUSE BLACK (or RED) WIRE
to the FIXTURE BLACK (or SMOOTH SIDE) WIRE using wire connectors (not supplied by Quoizel).
9. Carefully tuck all of the wiring into the OUTLET BOX. Thread the CANOPY CHAIN LOOP onto the NIPPLE
attached to CROSSBAR. Locate the CEILING CANOPY over the OUTLET BOX and secure by threading the
LOCKRING onto the CANOPY CHAIN LOOP.
10. With someone else holding the FIXTURE, proceed to attach the top of the FIXTURE CHAIN to the
CANOPY CHAIN LOOP and the bottom of chain to the FIXTURE LOOP. Carefully compress FIXTURE CHAIN
with pliers to secure.
11. Install bulbs, checking fixture markings and/or labels for maximum wattage.
12. Restore electrical power to the installation point.
