These instructions explain how to install the CPH Stud
Repair Kit. The CPH Stud Repair Kit is designed to re-
place broken studs on the pull hitch axle frame.These
instructions apply to:

Before You Start
Page 3 is a detailed listing of parts included in the
CPH Stud Repair Kit. Use this list to inventory
parts received.
Tools Required
• Basic Hand Tools
• Welder
Assembly Instructions
NOTE: If only one stud is broken, complete steps 1 - 8.
If both studs are broken, discard front slide block back
plate and complete steps 4 -8.
Refer to Figure 1
1. Unscrew nut hex (3) securing existing front slide
block back plate (2) and front slide block (4) to pull
hitch axle frame. Keep nut hex (3) for reuse.
2. Remove and discard front slide block back plate
(2).
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 on pull hitch axle frame on
opposite side of hitch.
