Replacing the Hinge Cover
Dell™ Inspiron™ 1210 Service Manual
1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin .
2. Open the display as far as possible.
3. Pry out the hinge cover from side to side.
4. Remove the hinge cover.
5. To replace the hinge cover, align the tabs on the hinge cover to the top of the keyboard and press the hinge cover back in place.
6. Slide the battery into the battery bay, until it clicks in place and slide the battery-lock latch towards the lock position.
