Supported Physical Disks

It is recommended that you download and install the latest firmware on your system. For the latest
available physical disk firmware, see the Get drivers and downloads section of the product support page
at dell.com/support.

Updating firmware

You can update the PowerEdge VRTX enclosure and server modules installed in the enclosure by using
the following interfaces:

• Windows Dell Update Packages (DUPs)
• Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC web interface)
• PowerEdge VRTX Chassis Management Controller (CMC web interface)
• RACADM commands

The following are the prerequisites for updating the firmware:

• iDRAC web interface for each server module accessible from management station
