Removing the Memory Modules

 

 

1.

Follow the instructions in "

Preparing to Work Inside the Computer

."


 

2.

Turn the computer over, loosen the captive screw (labeled "M") in the memory module cover, and lift the cover away from the computer.

 

3.

Use your fingertips to carefully spread apart the securing clips on each end of the memory module connector until the module pops up. 


 

4.

Remove the module from the connector.
