Closing The Controller
CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You should only perform
troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your product documentation, or as directed by the online or
telephone service and support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your
warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the product.
NOTE: This is a service only procedure.
1.
Align the notches on the edges of the chassis with the cover alignment pins on the inner sides of the cover.
2.
Place the cover onto the controller chassis and offset the cover slightly to the front so that the cover lays flush with
the chassis.
3.
Slide the cover toward the back of the controller until it clicks into position.
4.
Install the controller in the appropriate slot in the NAS appliance.
