Installing the Base Cover
1.
Place the base cover to align with the screw holes on the computer.
2.
Tighten the screw to secures the base cover to the computer.
3.
Tighten the screw that secures the ODD.
4.
Follow the procedures in
After Working Inside Your Computer
.
Removing the Battery
1.
Follow the procedures in
Before Working Inside Your Computer
.
a) ODD
b) base cover
2.
Disconnect the battery cable from its connector on the system board.
3.
Lift and remove the battery from the computer.
