Removing the System Board

 

1.

2.

Remove the battery (see

).


 

3.

Remove the base cover (see

).


 

4.

Remove memory module(s) (see

Removing the Memory Module(s)

).


 

5.

Remove the optical drive (see

Removing the Optical Drive

).


 

6.

Remove the keyboard (see

Remove the palm rest (see

10.

Remove the Bluetooth module (see

11.

Disconnect the display cable, VGA connector board cable, speaker cable, and Media Card Reader board cable from the connectors on the system board.

 

12.

Remove the two screws that secure the system board assembly to the computer base.

computer.
