Creating Remote Virtual Disks Replication

The Create Remote Virtual Disks Replication command is used to establish a remote Virtual Disks
replication between two storage arrays connected via fibre channel. To establish a new remote Virtual
Disks replication:

NOTE: To create remote replication, both storage arrays (local and remote) must be added to the
Array Manager view.

1.

Click the Create Synchronous Replication command.

2. Review the Introduction wizard instructions and click Next.
3. Select the Primary Virtual Disks for the replication relationship and click Next.
4. From the drop-down list, select the remote storage array for the replication
5. From the drop-down list, select the secondary Virtual Disks to be the target of the primary Virtual

Disks

6. Choose the write mode for the remote replication and click Next.
7. Choose resynchronization method to use.
8. From the drop-down list, select the synchronization priority for the replication and click Next.
