Recording the transfer message
When you want to inform the person who answers on the registered
phone number that this call is to notify an incoming message, record
the transfer message.

FLASH/REMOTE ).
The TALK/BATT lamp lights up in
red.
Press TRANS/®.
Speak into the handset to record
your transfer message.
You can record up to one minute.
To stop recording, press STOP/®.
A long confirmation beep sounds,
and your transfer message will be
played back.
Press (
FLASH/REMOTE
).
The TALK/BATT lamp goes off.
Notes
• Make sure that RING ON/BATT SAVE switch is set to RING ON.
• If the transfer message is shorter than two seconds, five short error beeps sound
and the transfer message is not recorded.
• There is no prerecorded message.

To record the transfer message from a touch-tone phone, see page 34.
To change the transfer message
Do in the same way as described above. The new transfer message
replaces the old one.
To erase the transfer message
