Recording with an External Microphone
or Other Equipment

Connect a plug-in-power type microphone or other
equipment to the MIC (PLUG IN POWER) jack.
When recording with an external microphone

When you connect an external microphone, the built-in microphone is
automally cut o/f. When a plug in power type microphone is connected,
power is automatically supplied to the micrt^phone from the !C rectirder.
When recording from other equipment
Tape recorder,
TV, radio, etc.

Follow the steps in "Recording messages" on page 10 to
record messages.

Make sure that the plugs are connected securely.
• We recommend vou make a trial rectirding t(' chec k the connections and
volume control.
• When connecting equipment other than St>nv's, reler to the instruction
manual ot the equipment.
