Preventing Confidential Messages from
being Played Back by Others — Secret
Function
\ oil can set an ID codo (4-digit number) to prex'ent confidential messages
in the Q (SECRET) file to be plaved back bv others.
When the secret function is set to on, vou cannot plav back the messages
unless vou enter the ID code; however, \'ou can add new recordings to the
secret file.
To s£t the secret function

Press MENU to enter the menu mode.

Turn the jog dial to display "SECRET
OFF (or ON)" and press the jog dial.
3
Turn the jog dial to flash "ON".
