Coi^nections for Playback
You can use the camcorder as a VCR by connecting it to your TV tor playback. There are some ways to
connect your camcorder as shown below. It is recommended to use the house current as the power
source (p.l8).
Conniecting to a TV with Video/Audio Input Jacks or VCR
Connect the camcorder to your TV by using the supplied A/V conmicting cable. Set the TV/VCR
selector lo VCR on the TV.
If you are going to connect the camcorder using the 5 video cable [a|, you do not need to connect the
yellow (video) plug of the A/V connecting cable [bj.
If a VCR is connected to the TV
Connect the camcorder to LINE IN on the VCR. Set the input selector on the VCR to LINE. Set the TV/
VCR seliictor to VCR on the TV.

If your TV or VCR is monaural type, connect only the white plug for audio on both the camcorder and
the TV or the VCR. With this connection, the sound is monaural.
