Use a TYPE I (normal) tape.

deck A and a recorded tape in deck
B.
To stop recording
Press H — on deck A and B.

Press TAPE.
"TAPE" appears in the display.

Press II on deck A.

Press # on deck A.
Deck A stands by for recording.

Press l> on deck B.
The tape starts dubbing.
