Programming the Remote Control
The Internet Terminal's remote control is preset at the factory to operate
Sony brand TVs. If you have a TV other than Sony brand that you want to
-control with the Internet Terminal's remote control, use the following
procedures to program the remote control to control your TV.
^ Your TV must have infrared (IR) remote control receiving capability in order to be used with
the Internet Terminal's remote control.
To program the Internet Terminal's remote control.

Find the three digit code number for your TV from the
"Programmable Codes" on page 42. If more than one code number is
listed, use the number listed first to complete the following
prcrcedures.

Press the CODE SET button

Enter the three digit code number.

Press the ENTER button.

You must perform step 4 within 10 seconds of step 3, or you must start again from
step 2.
To Check if the Code Number Works:
Use the following procedure to make sure the code you've entered works.
□ Aim the Internet Terminal's remote control at the TV and press the TV
POWER button.
If the TV responds, try the CH+ and CH- buttons. If the TV responds,
you're done. If the code doesn't work:

Try programming the remote control using the other codes listed for
your TV.
If you cannot get your TV to respond to the Internet Terminal's
remote control — even after trying all the code numbers for your TV
— call 1-888-772-7669.
