Maintenance
• Clean the cabinets with a soft cloth
slightly moistened with water or mild
detergent solution. Do not use any type
of abrasive pad, scouring powder or
solvent such as alcohol or benzine as
they may damage the finish of the
cabinet.
• Regularly clean the charging terminals
on the base unit and the handset with a
dry, soft cloth. If the terminals are soiled,
the battery pack may not be charged.
On the security code
The digital security code is automatically
set when you initially charge the battery
pack arid place the handset onto the base
unit. If you wish to change the security
code:
. Set the handset in ВАТТ SAVE mode.
While holding FLASH down, move the
RING ON/BAIT SAVE switch to RING
ON. A confirmation beep will sound.
Replace the handset onto the base unit.

press TALK.
• Make sure the base unit is connected to
an AC outlet.
• Make sure the base unit is connected to a
telephone outlet.
• The battery pack may be discharged.
Charge the battery pack for about 12
hours.
• Move the handset closer to the base unit.
