MD Mode (for Manual
Flash Exposure Control

with Motor Drive

Operation)

At the motor drive (MD) setting,
the SB-22 is able to recycle fast
enough to synchronize with a

motor-driven camera firing con­

tinuously up to 6 frames per
second. It is possible to take up to
four full flash pictures in rapid
succession in this way.
To determine aperture with the
SB-22’s aperture selection/shoot-

ing distance range panel in this
mode, read the following.
